Whether you’re a leisure stroller, dedicated rambler or an adventurous hiker, a stay at the Lodge at Harvey’s Point offers a wide variety of walks in the immediate vicinity.
Established in 1989 by the Gysling Family, Harvey’s Point has become woven into the very fabric of the Lough Eske area. The hotel has preserved the local place name, named after two Harvey brothers who owned a small cottage on the lough shore.
Lough Eske is enclosed on three sides by the rugged Bluestack Mountains and fringed by woods. This has helped create a special micro climate for flora and fauna to thrive. Nearby Ardnamona Nature Reserve is a protected native oak woodland while Lough Eske is home to Atlantic salmon, trout and char.
