De-Stress & Digital Detox Break

De-Stress & Digital Detox Break

Do you remember when we didn’t use mobile devices in our daily lives? Does your brain have too many tabs open? Then this break will be perfect for you!

Recharge your mind, body and soul and let us show you how to disconnect from technology and reconnect to ourselves. Turn off the screens and turn on life at Harvey’s Point.

Activities include meditation classes, mindful walking in a nature reserve, breathing techniques, healthy cooking demonstration, group discussions (speak to each other in more than 160 characters), and many more, on the beautiful grounds of Harvey’s Point as well as at an ancient Celtic/Monastic site nearby.

Keith Corcoran, your instructor will be with us throughout the weekend to ensure you don’t need any of your mobile devices.

You can leave your mobile devices with us during your entire stay and participate in as much or as little activities as you wish.

Chill out beside a turf burning fire, enjoy delicious food and watch the world go by.

Keith Corcoran is a 40 year old writer, international tour guide, and community worker, based in County Donegal. Keith holds qualifications in Journalism, Cultural Studies, Irish History and Meditation Instruction and has over 15 years experience as a tour guide and walking group leader.

Wonderful, Relaxing Week-End
We were 2 of 8 participants in a ‘Digital Detox week-end.’ This was an special package Harvey’s were running that incorporated an introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness, a walk in Ardnamona Woods, a group discussion on Social Media and a bus trip to an ancient Celtic/Monastic site. We left our mobiles and i-pads at home naturally so had no need of a Wi-Fi code! We didn’t miss them. Giving these up added to the seclusion and tranquility of the setting and relaxation of the week-end in general…. James C

Digital detox weekend!
Just back from the digital detox weekend! Had the most relaxing time with my friend, stayed in the lodge and was so impressed compact but perfectly formed! We enjoyed dining in the main hotel both evenings and had the most amazing breakfast in the mornings. Keith our leader was a source of knowledge on relaxation techniques and also a superb guide. We met some lovely people and had some great laughs, I would highly recommend such a weekend for those of you who just want to chill and get away from the the stresses of day to day life… Patricia M

After a superb breakfast we began our journey into the beautiful world of meditation, mindfulness and breathing techniques follows by a walk in the lovely Ardnamona Woods – no social media in sight all weekend, just a lovely group of like minded people who enjoyed the company of each other and Talking! … Sinead M
