Credit Card Security
The credit card details page of Harvey’s Point® is protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encrypts your name, credit card number and expiry date before they travel over the Internet. This makes doing business over the Internet as secure as purchasing by telephone.

Additionally, credit card usage is verified directly through a live secure connection with the banking system at time of debiting. Harvey’s Point® uses a trusted 3rd party supplier Realexpayments to process your online payment. Realexpayments will appear on your credit card statement.

  • Gift Cards will be issued within 24 hours of receipt of payment, but please allow up to 7 working days for delivery by Post.
  • Electronic Gift Vouchers are sent instantly via email to you or your recipient.
  • The total value of your gift voucher purchase will be debited from your card at time of purchase.
  • To purchase a voucher you must enter the details of a valid credit or charge card legally held by you. Card details will be validated prior to the transaction being confirmed and the Voucher(s) being issued.
  • All successful online transactions are confirmed to the purchaser by email. Each purchase is given a unique transaction reference. Please use this reference if you need to communicate with the issuer regarding any purchase.
  • Gift Cards that specify a particular service or product are valid for one year from the date of issue, thereafter Gift Cards are valid until the balance reads zero.
  • Each voucher will have a monetary value of which it has been purchased.
  • Harvey’s Point Hotel is not responsible for vouchers that are lost or mislaid.
  • The use of voucher(s) to purchase accommodation, meals or services is subject to availability. Supplements may apply at restricted times for example Bank Holidays and Special Events.
  • Vouchers may be used for more than one transaction. Cash refunds are not permitted. A new voucher will be issued for any unused outstanding balance.
  • Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash.
  • Vouchers must be presented on arrival at hotel.
  • Vouchers that have been altered or damaged in any way will not be accepted.
  • Vouchers that have expired will not be accepted.
  • Vouchers with limited or specified availability i.e. midweek only will only be accepted where they are valid and apply to the given stay.
  • Where a transaction exceeds €1,000, the issuer reserves the right in the interests of security to contact the purchaser and request further verification prior to the issuing of vouchers.
  • All vouchers purchased are non-transferable.

Quoted Rates
Rates are quoted and charged in EUR inclusive of VAT, service charge & taxes. All rates quoted are subject to availability and alteration. All special offers quoted are limited and subject to availability and may be subject to a minimum night stay.

Accuracy of Information
While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Harvey’s Point does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information and descriptions of listed hotels and products.

Online bookings
Please note that different terms, conditions and cancellation policies in relation to all online bookings via Harvey’s Point branded websites may apply depending on the room or rate type selected. Please read carefully the room rate details that are provided before you make your online booking. We advise you to check through the rate details before making your online reservation.

To make a booking you must complete the on-line booking form. The person who completes the on-line booking form is responsible for ensuring full payment with the hotel. He/she is also responsible for keeping other members of his/her party informed as to the booking details.

When your booking is made, you will receive an on screen confirmation. We advise you to print the on-screen confirmation at the time of booking and retain it for your records. We will also send you an e-mail with your reservation details.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you will need the aforementioned confirmation reference number as well as the email address used to make the reservation.

Reservations are subject to prevailing Vat rates applicable during the provision of the service. If the prevailing Vat rate changes the costs of the services provided during the stay will be subject to the greater or lesser Vat rate as applicable.

Pricing Errors
While we do our best to minimise mistakes, sometimes mistakes happen. Harvey’s Point reserves the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price or service.

Guaranteed reservations
Unless you are booking a non-cancellable rate, your credit card details are taken at the time of booking for guarantee purposes only. By securing your online reservation with a credit card, your room is guaranteed until midnight on the day of arrival, after which the room is released and may be resold. All reservations made on www.harveyspoint.com must be guaranteed to a major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). In the case of a no show, your credit card will be charged for one night’s accommodation.

Cancellations must be received by us at least 48 hours prior to day of arrival or within the cancellation period indicated on the reservation confirmation. If cancellation is not received by the required date, Harvey’s Point will charge one night’s accommodation. Please note that some rates are non-refundable and in the event of a no show, the full charge of the booking is taken from your credit card. Non-refundable room rates will be notified to you prior to booking.

Child Policy
2 children under 3 may share free with two adults. A cot charge may apply.

Promotions and offers
Please note that all promotional offers are subject to specific terms, conditions and restrictions listed on the specific webpage. All special offers are subject to availability.

Site use
Our website is intended to provide information about Harvey’s Point to our guests and to assist our guests in determining the availability and booking of a reservation. Apart from printing information in connection with your travel, you are not entitled to reproduce, replicate, sell, resell or otherwise exploit the website listed above unless we provide you with prior written permission to do so.

Eligibility of use
Use of harveyspoint.ie and all Harvey’s Point branded websites is restricted to people over the age of 18 who can enter into binding contracts.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own password and account for all activities that occur under your account.

Links to third party websites
Links that feature on harveyspoint.com are links to other sites that we believe may be of interest to you. By providing these links we are not endorsing or recommending such sites or the services or material provided by them. We therefore accept no responsibility for the materials, services or other situations at or related to or from any other website.

Queries and complaints
Queries and/or complaints must be notified to Harvey’s Point in writing within seven (7) days of the problem arising or seven (7) days of the problem arising whichever is the earlier.

Harvey’s Point warrants that we will provide our services with due skill, care and diligence, and that any materials used will be sound and reasonably fit for the purpose for which they are required.

Harvey’s Point shall have no other liability to its customers whether under these general terms and conditions or on any other basis including liability in tort as a result of the sale of our services.

Where a complaint is upheld by Harvey’s Point our liability shall be limited to:
