Zenato Wine & Dinner Pairing Experience

Enjoy the Finest Food and Wine Pairings at Harvey’s Point on Wednesday, 22nd February 2023. We are delighted to host a wonderful Wine & Dinner pairing Experience in the luxurious surroundings of our Lakeside Restaurant overlooking Lough Eske. Enjoy a welcome drinks reception followed by a gourmet seven-course dinner with paired wines from Zenato Winery. Zenato Winery was founded by Sergio Zenato in 1960, the Azienda is now in the hands of his children, Alberto and Nadia. With 95 hectares, running from the banks of Lake Garda to nearby Valpolicella, the largest vineyard holdings are in Lugana where they were responsible for the rebirth of the region. Their Valpolicella vineyards are all in the ‘classic zone’. The wines are fermented according to their vineyard sites and ageing potential. The whites and the Bardolino are generally tank fermented whilst the majority of the reds and the Sergio Zenato range all receive time in different types of oak with four years in Slovenian casks for the Amarone Riserva.

It is our pleasure to welcome Alberto Zenato as our special guest, from the age of 10, Alberto has been involved in the vineyards and winery alongside his father, Sergio. Having completed Technical Science studies, he started working at Zenato at the bottom of the ladder. Thanks to the experience he gained on the way up that ladder, his passion for wine became even stronger and deep-rooted. Having sold his wine internationally, today he is responsible for every aspect of production. Passionate about his family firm he hopes to convey this to his son, Alessandro, starting with small things like a single grape and a clod of earth.

This promises to be a wonderful evening of fine wines, gourmet food and great company!
