Wine & Dinner Pairing Experience

Enjoy the Finest Food and Wine Pairings at Harvey’s Point on Friday, 14th of March, 2025. We are delighted to host a wonderful Wine & Dinner pairing Experience in the luxurious surroundings of our Lakeside Restaurant overlooking Lough Eske. Enjoy a welcome drinks reception followed by a gourmet six-course dinner with paired wines from Tindal Wine Merchants as selected by Rhone Valley Winemaker Simon Tyrrell.

Simon has spent over twenty-five years in the international wine trade, working in both import & distribution as well as in production with experience in France, Spain, the UK and Ireland. In 2003 he established and ran Tyrrell & Company Wine Importers before selling the business to one of Ireland’s leading importers, Tindal Wine Merchants in 2016.

In 2009 he decided to undertake a two-year viticulture and oenology course at Plumpton College, University of Brighton, emerging with a Distinction. In 2017, with his two friends, Charles Derain and Gerard Maguire, he then established Domaine Les Deux Cols in the Southern Rhône and started a grape purchasing négociant business, Atelier des Sources. Between the two operations, they currently farm 12 hectares of vineyard using organic methods in the northwest corner of the Gard département. Half of the production is sold domestically in France and the other half to export markets including Ireland, the U.K., Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada and Taiwan.

In 2023, Simon started Maison Tymas with his friend and oenologist, Caroline Delmas, buying grapes and producing small-volume wines from lesser-known sites within the South of France.

This promises to be a wonderful evening of fine wines, gourmet food and great company!
